Show Notes

Tony and I met via a mutual friend who interviewed us both for his podcast in separate episodes. We both enjoyed listening to our respective episodes so much that we connected on Facebook and have followed each other’s journey through lockdown since then.

It is fair to say that our journey's in, out and back in to lockdown during the pandemic, have been quite different but we both share some strong values, methods and outlook for our businesses. We decided to do an interview for Pod Pit that discussed some of these values and one in particular that we’ve both had to demonstrate in recent times… Resilience.

Tony is going through this period right now and I’ve had some tough times where my resilience was stretched to breaking point so what better time to dig deep on this than right now?!

In this episode, we talk openly and honestly about what character traits we can look to develop in order to build resilience. This is an episode with lots to takeaway:

  • Controlling the controllables
  • Looking for positive reactions to negative situations
  • Seeking a solution to a problem
  • Surrounding yourself with people you trust and understand you
  • Killing the inner control freak in us all
  • Finding your superpower
  • Looking for ways to help other people in your unique way
  • Finding your own solutions
  • Understanding how your mind really works

This is a rollercoaster of information from a guy who has lived his worst nightmare in the last 12 months, but has ultimately come out of it with a more robust and profitable business.

This is not to be missed.
